Lowering the Back Seat

I have been reading on the 'Supercrew' site that one solution of keeping your back seat clean, when transporting dogs is to lower your back seat. I know we can raise the back 60/40 seats but I have never known you could lower them. I felt the back of the rear seats and they are carpeted but can't find any lever to lower them.

Where is the lever to lower the back seat or is this something you can do only on a non 'King Ranch' Supercrew? It is not in my 2006 manual.

The back of the seat can not be lowered.

Lowering Back Seat

Thanks. I thought I had better check before I started tearing things up.

Do the other Supercrews have that as a standard option? Sure seems like a great idea and I can think of hundreds of times I would rather have put stuff in my 'lowered' back seat instead of the bed.

Can't do it at all on any 04+ trucks.
