Problem with drivers side mirror...
This mirror dances around like a flame in a pumpkin..dealer replaced it once without any better results..Now they tell me it's the nature of the beast..Called Ford Customer Service, "it's within Ford specs"..So I questioned the young lady about Ford engineers designing this mirror to dance going down the highway?????..It doesen't even keep time with the music..Anyone else experiencing this "Normal Problem"? Is there anyway to fix this safety issue??
"Just what are the vibration specs on F150 mirrors?"
She didn't say..I would think that one should be able to shave while doing 70mph ...that would be a good spec..I think warranty work goes down the drain when a company is in financial crisis..The truck as a whole is functioning very well..this is a problem that started on the drawing board..so..I'll shut up..

Try a different stealership. This isn't 'normal' and, quite frankly, seems to me like somewhat of a safety issue. I mean, isn't a side view mirror designed so that you're able to identify, avoid, and compensate for other drivers/objects as viewed within it?
I have to call BS on the 'within spec' comment. Get someone from the next stealership to ride with you at highway speed to demonstrate what the problem is and how you expect them to deal with it. Be civil, of course. I would, however, be very firm with them though. G'luck!
