i have an 01 king ranch and i dont really know what to do to add a sub. i went to a place and they said that i only had two options. 1. to remove the current consol and have them manufacture one themselves which i dont want to do because they didnt know if they could incorporate the kr top and 2. they would have to take off the paneling behind the back seats and replace it with a custom paneling with two 8's. i was really looking to just put one 12 in and stash it under the seats somewhere but this guy said it was impossible. if you guys know of a way i'd appreciate it.

No offense, but you should ask this question in the Amps and Sub section so you will get proper responses.

I'll give you my short answer. The person who told you this is a total retard.

JL Audio makes a sub for our trucks...however it does take up the entire console. Cost is about $500 for box w/speaker.

Someone had pictures up of a custom sub box that was built for underneith one of the back captain seats. You'll have to search around for it though. I'm sure just by looking you'll get some ideas as to where you can place it.
