Has anyone tried to remove the front license plate bracket? I've looked all over for a plate with the running W or king ranch logo and cannot find any. So I guess i just want to remove the bracket since you dont need a front tag in Florida. I see that the top portion just hooks on but I'm not sure about how the bottom is fastened on and I dont want to break it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

the bottom of the bracket has a little clip that just slides into the bumper u can remove it if u get underneath it and slide it out of the bumper

 

I removed mine, it will take a little effort (force). The two clips are wedge shaped and designed to install, not remove. But they will come off.

 

Much appreciated. Have you folks had any luck at finding any plates with anything other than a Ford logo?

 

I was considering adding a front license plate bracket to mine ... can you buy these from a Ford dealer? Any idea how much?

 

I too have wanted to get a front plate bracket just never went to a stealership to see what they will charge.

 

They are about 9 bucks from the dealer.
