You're from Kentucky... you probably spell it the same way as Lenticular... (I AM JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!! LOL )

Actually, you'll have enough stuff to catch after your daughter is born and you start changing diapers....

Speaking of diapers, don't use micro-fiber.... it will dry out the kid's bottom... use this instead:

Microfleece Diaper Fabric
Microfleece is 100% polyester and a superior moisture-wicking diaper fabric. It is used next to baby's skin to keep baby feeling dry and comfortable. Microfleece resists staining, and does not hold poo like other diaper fabric can. Best of all, it's so soft and cushy for baby!

Am I glad I'm past that stage!!!!

Have a good Memorial Day Weekend... !!! (and Happy Spring Bank Holiday to you, John!)

An American who understands English (well Welsh actually) ways !

Wow !!!!

(And Brad, I'm really glad you didn't notice my typo, otherwise I wouldn't have heard the last of it.

At least it was only a typo and not totally incorrect use of a word.....
Wait for it...............!!!! )

As Brad says it needs to be seen in the flesh and as soon as someone does I would be grateful for opinions.

Shades of Skagel I know....sorry, can't help myself !
I am an engineer so I could care less about grammar, spelling, etc. That's what a merketing department is for.

I posted because you said that "It's far worse than Dark Stone". This statement would not make me think that you like Dark Stone.

As far as people judging the color from that small image, Ford's colors always look completely different online than in person.

Check this one out.

Look at Ford's Dark Blue Pearl.

Here is what the color really looks like.

Here is what it looks like on their site for the F-150.

Here is the same color on an Expedition XLT:

Here it is for the Expy Eddie Bauer:

Those are 4 completely different colors.

That's very sad, because if we all give up on spelling and grammar we deteriorate into a semi neanderthal state again.

By the way it's....

Couldn't care less.

Think about it....
If you could care less, it indicates that you do actually care to a degree.

I presume the merketing department can spell.

By the way lest you think I might give up on my quest to maintain standards in the ENGLISH language you are sadly mistaken.

I've been on my soap box ever since I joined this forum and I'm not giving up anytime soon.

Chamois is pretty absorbant. Uz Kenntuickeuns luv du steuff.

We're less than two months out (by theory). The doctor has predicted that she will arrive a bit early but, that remains to be seen.

I'm certain that everything isn't in order but, at this time, it's just about as close as it's going to be. As such, anticipation is all that is left to pass the time...

I did that just to see if you would type exactly what you typed. Wow, what an **** retentive individual you are!! Chill out before you have an OCD heart attack. I am not the best speller or typist but my job does not require me to be. A $100 million interchange will not stop being built because I spell a word incorrectly.

I concentrated on subjects like physics, calculus, differential equations, statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, etc. in college.

Back on topic of this thread....

I followed my last post with something completely relevant to this thread (unlike your English teacher posts) and the only thing you notice is spelling and grammar.

I work with a guy like you and all he does is annoy everyone to death. He spends more time making fun of e-mails for grammar mistakes than he does working.

I do not care because I have a job to do and I do it well. I run spell-check on all of my e-mails and nobody has ever been confused by what I am trying to say.

Dus this speel out howw mutch I kare abowt speelling an' grammer?

Put me down for the bottom part of this.

It's all good. I will just stay on the forums for Lariat owners so I don't have to get slammed by snooty KR owners.

Someone has a spur in their panties, eh?

Hear me now and believe me later, BlueFlareside...You need to understand the atmosphere within the KR forum prior to jumping to excessive conclusions.

Also, take note... I lurk everywhere here and I"m a snooty KR owner.

Thanks for that RP.

I wouldn't normally bother to rise to the bait of BlueFlareside's post but the whole thing was based on a false premise. (Well, actually 2)

Firstly someone commented that the new Earth color was Dark Stone renamed.
I simply said that (as a shade of brown being understood), Earth was far worse than Dark Stone.
I also said that I fully understood that small thumbnail swatches could not be representative of what it would actually turn out like. (That would have saved you (BlueFlareside) the trouble of posting all those variations of blue!)

I was not implying that I didn't like it...in fact I said that I had considered it myself.
Obviously as a Dark Stone owner you took it as a slight on your choice.

The other false premise is that you seem to think all I have to do is lurk and point out spelling and grammatical errors.

I won't list my qualifications as you deem necessary to do, but perhaps if you had been a regular member of this forum over the years you would have built up a picture of someone who is far from A R.
I won't lower myself to put those initials into words because it's actually a totally meaningless phrase anyway, but one that is useful as an insult when it suits other people.

I do correct basic errors of spelling etc. ....sometimes.
I let it go on many occasions, but again, there is history to it.
Back in the early days of the forum we had far more 'banter' between the few of us that were here, and one particular lady member and myself and a few others did the spelling/grammar thing as a regular activity.
Now I still do it, but again if you really knew the members here you would know it is often very tongue in cheek.
(Though I do think that often poor postings are a result of lazyness and a sign that someone hasn't bothered to read through a preview before submitting, and as I said I think it is important to at least make an effort to maintain standards, rather than use the lame and lazy excuse that it is someone else's job!!. It is also disrespectful to those that are reading the post)

Finally, as for being slammed by snooty KR owners, methinks there might be a slight chip on your shoulder because nothing could be further from the truth.

Everyone is very down to EARTH. (Get it ?)

Rockpick,
Believe me, I have seen more on these forums than most and know how things work around here. As you can see I have been a member here longer than either you or Lenticular.

My last statement (snooty one) was just a good humored rib.

Lenticular,
I have visited the KR forum since its inception and know many of the members by their screen name and how they are.

Like I said, it's all good. I was just trying to make an informative post and show how much of a difference there is in one color on Ford's site. I know you stated the same thing but I believe that pictures show it clearer.

I do remember you posting about Dark Stone when you went to look at it so I did some searching and found this.

Not a very ringing endorsement. I don't care what you think of the color. I was trying to show how beautiful I think the color is and I think it is funny how you keep defending your position. It would be like me saying "Len, I saw this girl the other night at the bar. Boy was she ugly! She was far worse than your wife." From that statement would you think that I found your wife attractive? I don't think so.

No hard feelings and I will continue to peruse this forum for information and now maybe some more good ribbing now that you obviously know who I am.

Fair enough and some good searching there (I'm glad you have the time !!!)

Have a drink on me !

And the offer is for a real one or two as well, but up 'til yet no one has made the trip down to south Texas to take me up on it except the aforementioned lady (Skagel) and Daveman.
Of course if you made it to Wales you could try some proper beer, not that watery ice cold stuff you generally imbibe over there !

The search took all of about 5 seconds. I remembered your post of the Dark Stone KR and that you were not that impressed. This was right before I ordered my truck.

I will have a Guinness or a Newcastle on you then! I do not like the typical watery stuff over here either. I think it is my Irish ancestry.
