King Ranch message center

I just ordered a 2007 F-150 King Ranch and forgot to ask the salesman about the message center. I see in the book that the message center is standard in the Lariat and since KR is a souped up Lariat, I'm assuming that the message center is standard issue. Can anyone confirm that for me so I can sleep easy tonight?

I think the "message center" is nothing but the little readout, no?

yes, it is a readout but gives the distance to empty, avg fuel economy, and all kinds of other seemingly useless information. I've seen others that keep up with avg mph, trip distances, oil life, etc.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's "useless information".....

Thanks for the reassurance. And you're right, Jaw. It's only useless if you don't have it. Had it on my '95 Explorer but my current F-150 doesn't and I sure miss it. Glad to hear my assumptions were correct, for a change!
