In the thread "Please help I'm going crazy", is a quotation in the 8th post from a member of another forum....
Why it has been copied into that post is quite beyond me, but it is entirely inappropriate, and lacking in any degree of taste.
It is certainly not suited to the nature of this forum.....

I have removed both the 'signature quote' and also the original post from QATS.
Just shoot me an email the next time you see some garbage like this. No need to get your thong in a bunch.

That's strange...
To me IRC stands for...
International Rectifier Corporation, a company my father worked for here in the UK in the 60's, and where I worked in my student vacations.
I was testing huge high powered rectifiers for eventual despatch to Australian railways for their electrification program.
I hadn't got a clue what I was doing, but I was promoted to quality control just in time to see my rectifiers coming through.....So of course I just gave them a 'passed' sticker !
God knows what happened to the Australian railway system !!

So... more info flows out of Lenny... he's a human rectifier.
IRC has a similar nomenclature when speaking using their chat servers. For example, if one were to put /me dances, when it's displayed within the chat room, it would say 'Rockpick dances'.
