LeatherCPR Application Tips?

After reading the various positive comments about LCPR, wanted to give it a try, but was curious how others have applied? Read the instructions and it sounds like just rub it on with the applicator and leave it, is that all there is to it or do you follow-up with a towel afterwards? How frequently do you apply?

I've been using my KR Conditioner that I bought when I first bought the truck, but last time it left some white residue that I had to clean off, so I'm curious to try something different.

I think it depends on the condition of the leather you have. For me, I had to deep soak them a few times...by hand and let dry. Now I just use the applicator and I switch back and forth with the KR brand.

You will know dirty your seats are by using the applicator, if it gets dirty quickly on one small section, then stop, and use the hot towel technique then let dry then use the LCPR.

Thanks, RollingRock...so with the LeatherCPR there's no need to wipe afterwards, just apply and let it soak in? My seats are in good condition, but curious what was the deep soak process you went through?

if your seats are good...then just use the applicator and "wipe -n-go"....

They will feel tacky to the touch for a few min...then you could use a microfiber to lightly, (key word...lightly) buff them.

Yeah I am no expert...that is RockPick...I just happen to like a little Brewery from Latrobe...

Let us know what you think of the LCPR....one last thing, if you really soak it on, your seats will darken up, but that should be tempory. Always best to test a little area first and see how your seats take it.

You're right. It's nothing short of rocket science. I skipped out on those upper level physics courses at the University.

You should be a free lance astronaut like me, then you'd understand these things.

I almost have my degree in geostationary satellite repair. Once obtained, I'll be looking to you for astronaut training.

Is Lenny's Astronaut Training Academy (motto: "Wanna Launch? We Gotcha' Covered Like a Jimmy Hat!") still open and doing legal business in Texas?

I just thought I'd use a partial quote from that well known friend of mine...

Des Cartes.

Anyway as the Pythons would have once said...

"This is getting silly !! "
