Rear Quarter Panel Decal Idea...

I hope you can see the typeface of the "Built Ford Tough" part of the decal.

Please let me know what you think. I am NOT a graphic artist!!!

I hope you don't plan on putting that on a KR!

So, I assume you vote no?

I think of my KR as a tough truck and the barbed wire seemed to fit in well with the idea of a Texas cattle ranch... But then again, I could be wrong.

I'll have to agree. I could see that on a lifted off roading truck, but not on a King Ranch. I consider the King Ranch classier then that. No offense.

Not on a KR. Pull the factory decals off and put nothing on. You know its a 4x4 or do you want to advertise?

Maybe barbed wire pinstripe if you really need to put something on, but do not use the decal on your KR, please.

You're asking for opinions... so....

I'd have to vote ABSOLUTELY NO.

I have to agree with the majority. I feel that a clean, original King Ranch is a fine example of a premium pick up truck - Style. While some enjoy changing out the wheels / tires, front grille, taillights, etc., I like what the design team did and have only added a full grille guard and driving lamps to mine. But to each his/her own.

If you modify your KR (along the lines of what is posted above) then placing custom graphics is something to consider. It will sure make it more of your own style.

I would have to pass on that one.

How about one that is just like the FX4 decal, but change it to KR4.

I gotta admit, I don't like the current 4x4 sticker that is on the KR. Proly because it is the same one as on the Lariat, XLT, etc. Its kinda blahh.
I agree that you have to be careful to keep the nice style of the KR, but I still like the off-road look.
Not that I like any of them specifically, but here is some options for somebody.

I removed the 4 x 4 decal and like the clean look . I know it is a 4 x 4 and if someone else doesn't , then they have a problem .

I was out at the dealer today drooling over a F250 KR with about every option you can think of. Noticed the KR leathers a little different too btw. Anyways I noticed F-250, Forest Green with the Pueblo Gold lower. Its a 2008 with a new 4x4 offroad sticker. I thought it looked pretty good, and since the truck is the same color as my ordered KR I am thinking about this one instead of the regular 4x4 decal. What do you guys think of it.
*I like 4x4 decals vs the "clean look" as some of you prefer. Give me your input on the sticker please, not the fact that I'm putting a sticker on.

You know this doesn't sound so bad. But it would have to be small like regular pinstriping and not noticable until you really look at it. But I liked the barbed wire idea. Then I remembered seeing barbed wire license plate frames, went down to my local a/p store and picked one up. Love it, thanks for the idea to spring off from.

Hey H345, How did you safely remove your 4X4 decal?
