rough ridin

I noticed how my kr rode so rough today, well it turrns out I got home from work and well our minneosota winters are VERY mild, I mean it was like 40 today and we go no snow. So there for the gravel roads are very sloppy, I hate takin my truck down them it feels like Im muddin just to get to work. Anyways when I got home I looked in rims and seen there was dirt in there, maybe thats why its so rough, I remember the goodyear guy told me if you get dirt in your rims you will be able to feel it. I guess I just need a car wash and see if it takes care of it.

If you have alot of mud inside the wheel it will throw the tires off balance at higher speeds. It should have nothing to do with the truck riding "rough"

I'm sure it depends on the amount of debris in the wheel, but I find that this happens between about 40 and 60 MPH (it's there outside of this range too but seems especially noticible inside of it). This happened to me within the first week or so of owning the KR but a quick trip to the car wash took care of the problem (I'd never owned such deep, thirsty wheels, apparenly and so it took a day or two to figure out). Now the carwash is my first stop on the way back down from the Colorado back country...
