07 pricing

Where's the best place to look for pricing on the 07's? Specifically the KR? Anybody wanna tell what they have paid for their 07? What would be a good deal on a 4x4 6.5 bed? Thanks experts.

Well, I *think* I may be the newest KR owner here on the boards. I picked up an 07 KR 4x4 with the 6.5 ft bed. She is FULLY LOADED. I mean DVD Navigation, audiophile, Moonroof, 3.73 LS, Power Sliding Rear Window, etc etc. You get the idea.
Anyways, I got an X Plan Pin and that helped out substantially. The Sticker on the Truck was 44,000 with a 2k mark up for the dealer trade in allowance, making it 46,000. I walked out the door financing 31,500 after x plan, trade in and discounts.
Thats not even the best part, I also got the extra 3yr 36k premium warranty and a Line X Bedliner.
Anyways, there are good deals to be had. If you can get your hands on an X Plan Pin, that is definitly the way to go. That will take the price down a good 4-5 k.
Look in my gallery, I have pics of her in there.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.

$31.5k???

05FX4SCW,

Just trying to figure out how you got out the door financing $31.5K? According to Edmunds.com your truck should have invoiced around $40.5K (typical x-plane price), plus tax and license, plus upside down in trade($2K), minus $3K in discounts= $31.5K??? I must be missing something here. Help me out, I'm feeling like I got screwed on mine now. Thanks

I dont have the paperwork right now (home in VA for the holidays, stationed in FL). I do remember most of the numbers though.

X PLAN PRICE: 39,438
Rebates: 4500 ( I got the truck Nov 28th, so rebates may have changed, I dont know though) I got 3k from ford, 1k from the dealer and 500 for military.

Trade: I only owed 15,8** on my old F150 (05 FX4), dealer gave me 21K for the truck so that is 5200 in equity.

That brought the price down to 29738. After taxes and me buying the Window Visors and Bug Deflector, the price came to 31, 5**.

Hope this helps. I had some good equity in my other F150 so that helped alot. I did have to haggle with them on that some though. KBB listed my Truck at 17500K and NADA Listed it at 23K. Initially they wanted to give me only 18750. I said "No thanks, That truck is too clean and with the stuff I have done to it, that price needs to be higher before I buy". About an hour later we settled at 21k. It also helped that I had just put 800$ in new tires (less than 500 miles) on her and had just done the 30K maintenence.

Anyways, Hope this helps a bit. If you would like the actual #'s Ill be home (FL) next week so I can get those for you.

Later

Okay, now I get it. When you said "...2k mark up for the dealer trade in allowance, making it 46,000" I took it to mean you were $2000 upside down in your truck. That's where you lost me. Now the numbers add up. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Great truck and a great deal!!!! Hope you like it!!!

We have been dealing with the dealership about a King Ranch 4x4 for the past week. They want 35,400. The MSRP is 41000.

Not to be a ****, but if you're gonna brag about your price...don't include your trade-in. That doesn't give an accurate idea AT ALL.

Talk pure business in terms of the truck itself.

I don't have a KR, but I got my LAriat which stickered for 36~ for $30,300 OTD paying cash. So for a KR with a few grand more in options expect to pay maybe 2-3k more. Hope this helps.

Does your OTD include tax, fees and licensing? Some people say out the door and don't include those added dollars. Also, was that a 4 wheel drive Lariat??

I was under the impression the you could not get any additional incentives/rebates if you went with the X-plan. Am I missing something here?

Yep. And we all sit around and wonder why Ford is hurting from a financial perspective...

I know... I know... don't rip me for making that comment. My point is simply this - they aren't making the profit per unit like they used to.

all you guys in the states are sooo lucky. we don't get any of those incentives/rebates up here in the great white north. even when you consider the exchange we pay way more than you guys do. ford is hurting because they can't balance their own cheque book, not because they're not making money per vehicle.

41k for a Lariat? I just moved from Sioux Falls to Chicago, and my dealer in Sioux Falls had 07 KR's for 35.5k OTD.

Fully loaded, 4x4, 6.5ft bed, $37K. Sticker was at 41.5K but I was able to talk them down some. They gave us 11.5K for our trade in when it was only worth about 9K.
