Help with part numbers....please.

I'm trying to find the part numbers for the 2007 Dark Copper painted door handles and tailgate handle.

Anybody know them, or know how to get them?

Thanks.

They don't come pre-painted. They're paint to match... in short, you'll have to utilize the PNs that were previously posted and have a shop spray them.

What's up with that?

You can get the Mark LT handles already painted.....but not the F-150?

Who thought up that better idea....

KR Painted Door Handles

I too have been wanting painted door handles since seeing that bueatiful white 2007 King Ranch pic on this site. Been to the Ford dealer, no luck yet ordering them there, their data base isn't uptodate yet...BUT NO FEAR I PREVAILED....Today I found them at a local body shop... They pulled up on their computer the repair parts for a 2007 King Ranch and low and behold their they were all of they King Ranch colors in pre painted door handles and tail gate handle color codes....drivers door $112.00 dollars, other 3 doors and tailgate $62 dollars... and boy did they go on my christmas list to my wife today......can't wait to get them...Merry Christmas to all. and good luck at your body shop...Ford is still wait for their computer update I guess, but my dealer said today it should be soon, but I can't wait anymore.

USNavy,

That is great news. I was hoping when Ford made them available to their dealers, we would be able to buy them already painted.

$112 + ($62 * 4) = $360 <== Not a bad "upgrade" price

Did you ask how much to get them installed or are you going to try to do it yourself?

Thanks for being persistent,

KR-Texas

So So Sorry fellow King Ranchers, the Body Shop data was incorrect, we spent about an hour today with his Ford parts distributer, they were bad part numbers. He is thou looking into what he did find, 2007 3 types available for F150: Chrome, Ugly Black we got, and smooth (paint to match),
the smooth paint to match he is looking into the part number and price. I am so disapointed...I was very excited. I know you all were too... My shop wants $300 to paint and install, if I install they want $150 to paint, after the part is bought. Let ya know when I get my call about the part number and price.

Ugly black? As in painted ugly black or textured plastic black?

I've talked with three or four different parts counters and also with at least one person 'on the inside' of FoMoCo... they've all reported back with the same thing...

The PNs exist:

7L3Z 1522404 CD
7L3Z 1522405 CD
7L3Z 1626604 CA
7L3Z 1626605 CA
7L3Z 9943400 BA
(these are painted black)

But, when you order them, it auto-defaults to PTM (paint to match).

The PTM part numbers have been posted on f150online.com for a while now - LINK TO ORIGINAL THREAD.

Definitely a bummer for all of us who would like to go that route... them coming in painted would be extremly helpful (and, certainly, cheaper).
