Bling wheels

Nothing personal, but real cowboys don't do bling or grills. 22" & 24" wheels that look more like salad makers might go better on the Lincoln F150. But if we all liked the same horse, it wouldn't be much of a race.

TWENTY-SIXES? Certainly no cut on you, but I'll never get it. Why put that little itty bit of rubber around the rim anyway? Why not just ride on the rim? To me, it would be like marrying supermodel with a sex change... sure, it may look good, but it rides like crap.

The ride really was not all that bad, sure when trying to dive down a road that is not paved all that well its another story but other than that I had no problems. Plus its all in how you wanna ride, diffrent strokes for diffrent folks. But as I said the ride was not that bad and I like the way big rims looked on the truck. Pot holes are a killer though seeing as how the rims were 2 grand a piece and the tires were almost as much. I would avoid anything bigger than a penny on the road.Thats back when money was not an issue though. Damn growing up, and responsibilty.

For what my opinion is worth, it at least needs larger brakes with more stopping power, 24" rims have a lot more rotational inertia than your factory wheel, you'll stop longer and wear out brakes faster, just be aware..

I like the look but it's not for me, the stock 18s are big enough.. I sleep easier knowing I can curb a tire or run something in the road over if it's necessary.
