08 SD King Ranch - uncovered

Good picture of what appears to be a 08 King Ranch Super Duty....

http://ap.lancasteronline.com/5/ford_trucks

Also, found the Ford Media Kit at:

http://media.ford.com/products/press...421&make_id=92

Most interesting was that the KR description was as follows, does this mean Castano is a thing of the past?

.."The sharp, modern design features all-new materials and includes luxury touches like contrast stitching on the seats and rich, Chaparral leather on the King Ranch"

Interesting...

It appears that the 'darker leather' promise that was made many moons ago by my contact at Ford may be coming true...

The Chaparral leather is darker than Castano. Go to www.krsaddleshop.com and check it out...

Looks clean. The only parts that look off key to me are the headlights.

Yup, the 450 is sweet, has a big rig look to it for sure! So is the leather a different type of leather, or just a different dye?

Couldn't tell you on that... I know that Castano and Chaparral are two different leather 'choices' on most all of their leather goods. I don't have anything that has Chaparral though -- someone here may have a wallet or something that they could compare it to... *shrugs*

Yeah, I know... sorry man. That's the original size of the pic as linked in. I could download it, upload it to my gallery, and then repost. I may do that later to make it a little cleaner.

Like you, I really don't like MASSIVE pics.

The KR emblems look branded in to the leather to me... not sure though.

Overall I like it. I don't like the headlights. Maybe some after market company will step in and flip them around to look a little better. Also the fender vent/badge looks a little crowded with everything packed on it.
