Lenny I sent you a message requiring the "English" touch....

I am away from base for a few days but will see what I can do as soon as I get back home.
Shiloh...
I just got the following message with mail returned....
This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:
The user(s) account is temporarily over quota.
Anyway if the others don't mind here is the E mail as sent.....I don't think there is anything confidential in it !!
Hello !
I'm not by any means an expert on heraldry or family crests, but I do know that the starting point for many people is....

Another useful site may be....

A very good friend of mine also has the surname (last name) Rowe, so I might be able to come up with something there when we next meet up.
All the best

I believe that "surname" is in widespread use here in the US. What I always get a kick out of is travelling with newbies who are thrown a loop when they have to fill in their "familiy" and "given" names on a landing card. It's pretty intuitive, but just not in common use in the US, so it confuses people the first time (yes, I'm sure that it once confused me).
BTW, I believe that member's last name is Road -- not Rowe.
TThhbbt !!!!!
(That WAS the sound Calvin made when sticking his tongue out I believe!)
Copied and pasted from E mail received as follows.....
Shiloh Rowe
Yah, boo, sucks !!
(Old English Expression)
Still waiting to buy you one in Ye Quaint Old English Pub !!
PS As for first names.....well of course we have always used the term "Christian name".
Life is getting to the ludicrous situation where there are people saying we shouldn't use that nomenclature.....might offend other ethnic groups etc !!!

There's a bizarre coincidence in all this.....
The Rowe that I know is a family living in the county of Kent !
E mail me again and we'll check to see what the problem is.
