I have been considering the purchase of King Ranch Super Crew, but wanted the Quad Seating (four Captain's Chairs) and have learned that isn't an option on the 2006. I have looked to see if this will be available on the 2007, but haven't found any information yet.

Is there a site where I can find out what will be available with the 2007 models? Love the KR, but really want the Quad seats like they have in the F-250.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

Are you sure that you can't get quad seeting in the F-150, because in my King Ranch catolog, there is a picture of the interior of the F-150 with the quad seats.

 

I would like to see the picture. Can you scan it? Are you sure it's not just the fold away arm rest making it look like quad seating. How old is the catalog? The 01-03 had the quad option.

To my knowledge the new body 05 and up king ranch is just offered with the rear bench. The F 2 & 350 has the option of bench or quad.

 

I agree with this. I have not seen any pics with the Quad captains chairs in the new body F150.

On Ford's website, they call out the captains charis as an option on the Expedition. For the F150 they don't show any rear captains chairs available.

 

It may be a moot point if you can't get the quad seating, but think about the loss of the middle seating position of a bench. We have the quad seating in our 2001 KR Screw and there have been more times than I would have ever thought where not having the extra seating position meant using a different vehicle or taking two vehicles. That being said, the rear console makes great storage and is big enough to hold more than enough stuff to entertain our 6-year-old on long trips.

 

I have been to three different dealers, and they all say the same thing that Quad seating was not available on the 2006 KR.

I have asked as to whether it would be available on the 2007, but so far none of them knew or had the new Ordering Guides yet to see if it was going to be an option.

Any advance idea on what will be available on the 2007?

 

I had quad seating on my 01 KR. It looked great, lots of storage too. But, it wasn't real practical. Only four people tops, no crunching in the rear seat.

When you layed the two rear buckets down, they folded down. They were lower then the consulby 4-6 inches, so you couldn't lay anything across from seat to seat, like golf clubs, etc.

But, I have to admit....it was great looking. I think that 03 was the end of quad seating. My 05 it wasn't offered either.
