Mud Flaps

I am thinking of adding front and back mud flaps.. mostly to keep road grime off.

Ford makes some that are molded for the F150, but not sure that I will like them on the KR... (the are black)

Please let me know if anyone has them installed and would you do it again..

Thanks

Not for an '06. I don't think that they make them for the newest model years (in TAN).

Having my Huskie Liner Mud Guards Painted, NOW

Having my Huskie Liners Painted.
When I picked up my Mirrors and Handles from the paint shop, I casually asked, "How do I prep & shoot some plastic mud flaps?"
He said, bring em by, I'll shoot em for you. So I ordered a set of four huskie brand from a local truck aftermarket and took them to the body shop.
They will be AZ Beige next week, but I chose not to have the far lower section shot. I figured that will take the most abuse, no sense asking for trouble. When I get them back, I'll do a photo shoot.

Mud Flaps

Got Mine Today, All Black From Husky.
Thanks for the Input XTRUCKY.
You have me Wondering what they will look like in AZ Beige.
I think I will wait and see what they Look like Painted AZ Beige before I put them on Plain Old Black.

Truck is Oxford White over AZ Beige, White Leer Topper, Black Lower Bra,
AVS Window Shields, Lund Avenger 2 Bug Shield, AVS MoonRoof Air Deflector,
And a "T" Style Sport Bra over the Hood for Winter.

On the Husky flaps that you got... are the hard molded or the soft rubber ones?

Mudflaps

They are the Hard Molded Ones, But are a Little Flexible.
I put them on Yesteday, Front Ones are Easy, Back ones to do Bottom Inside Screw Correctly you have to pull the Wheel Off.
They Back Wheel Flaps are Longer than the Front, and Cover the Width of my Factory BF Goodrich's. They Look Nice,They butt right up to the Running Boards on the Front and Both Stick out the Sides about 1 1/2" Past the Factory Wheel Moldings.
I am Still wanting to see what XTRUCKYS looks like after they are Painted AZ Beige. Mine do not look that Bad though Because my KR is Oxford White, Black Trim and AZ Beige on the Bottom, And with the Black Bra, Window Ventshades
and Front BugShield it all Kinda Looks Good Together.
Hope This Helps. KR Paul

I wanted to put a set of stock ford molded mud flaps on my KR but the stealership told me they would have to cut them to fit and recommended the regular flaps. They look ok but don't keep the mud off as well as I had hoped.
I have a few pictures on the site belowbut the flaps don't show up real well in most of them.

Cool Painted AZ Beige Huskies

I will pick them up today from the paint shop that did my Handles and Mirrors
and Grille. Delay was, they needed the truck for a day to color match the paint. I told them, just shoot em, how bad can it be. The painted said, that's why there are so many vehicles that don't match, most shops do not tint to match the color variences, WE'LL SEE.

Photos, Saturday or Sunday
Also having custom hand pinstriping done tomorrow, AM, like I had done on my 2001 SCrew

Freshly Painted, still drying

As promised, here are photos of my Husky Liner, Molded Splash Guards, Painted AZ Beige. I had this done at a body shop. I have bent them, not too far, I'm no Idiot, and there's a lot of flex (so far)

Sorry about the washed out look, the sun is so intense at 2PM in AZ.
