Leather Help

Hello all KR owners or admirers.

I have recently purchased a 2002 KR from a little old lady who very seldom drove it. In addition to it not seing much use, so to did the seats. It only has 70,000 KM (canada) but I dont think the seats were ever conditioned. AFter reading ALL information on the site, I decided to treat the seats to a much needed drink. I opted for LEXOL NF, as I didnt want to darken them that much. FYI, the LEXOL NF is a non-darkening neatsfoot oil based conditioner. I did the proper cleaning, and followed the instruction, but now my seats are very dark. Will this lighten up over time? Did I mention I love my new (new to me) KR? ANy help would be much appreciated

Regards from Canada.

I'd speculate that they'll lighten up... I'm not sure I've heard of anyone here going with neatsfoot though... so, I'm not speaking from experience (or from material that I've read).
