2006 KR Mods? (newbie here)

Hey,

I have a 2006 F150 KingRanch, I am interested in swapping the front grille with a plain, billet grill, instead of the 'cheapish' looking stock plastic grille.

I am also interested in investigating options in installing a supercharger.

My only current mods are true dual magna flow exhuasts.

Where can I buy mods from? (website) I haven't been able to find a good comprehensive one.

Also, any recommended shops to do the upgrades/installs in Houston, TX?

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the group. I am a newbie as well. You will quickly find it's like being the member of a cult, you'll automatically be giving 'thumbs-up' to other KR's on the highway or around town and realize you can spend a 'whole-lota-money' on the next great thing to make your truck look better. I am currently Line-Xing a Arizona Beige grill guard to go on mine because I haven't determined what to do with my bed, whether or not to cover it or Line-X it so I am doing the Grll Guard first. I haven't even hit the GPS options yet. Good luck.

KR Mods

You already have the Exhaust System. Put a K&N Cold Air Kit on it;
Part # 63-2556, and Hang On!!! If you can keep your foot out of it, it will also Improve your Gas Mileage. I saw 3-4mpg on the Highway at 70-75mph.
Also: Welcome to the Club!

Had a local shop paint my door handles, tailgate handle, mirrors and grille.

I like it, you might too.

Cool guys

Has anyone yet put a Supercharger into an 06 KR?
Where can I get grilles made for the 06 KR? I've found some for the '05, but nothing yet for '06.

I'm nearly certain that the 06' and the 05' are compatible....

As for blowers... check the 04+ forum -- several have added them. I've been eyeballing it myself... Also, check the Superchargers forum.

Sorry - it's the first thing that came to mind after looking at the tires and rims on a King Ranch. Not my "cup of tea" / there again I just got back from a 800 mile trip into southern Oregon (Klamath Basin) and lots of 4X4 backroads to some wonderful small lakes and great river fishing and NO WAY would I have taken those rims to (most of) the places we went.

Very nice truck.
