King Ranch Get Together

So does one of these ever happen? The weather is getting nice and I would be down for a road trip. Hmmmmmmmm Las Vegas seems like a central location.

"Central location" LOL!

Approx drive time is about 18 hours for you. Approximate drive time for me is about 29 hours.

Approximate drive time for the members in New York (and other 'up east' locations) is about 37 hours.

A regional thing may fly a bit easier... We've tried this several times and haven't ever really been able to pull it off. We're all too spread out.

I've offered to host and organize a KR get together a couple of times.....we even made it once !!

The obvious location strangely is...wait for it......

THE KING RANCH.

We are talking about the possibility in late October and I will offer more details in late June.

Don't hold your breath though since there are lots of those who show initial interest then when it comes to the crunch......well......it's a long way down to central Texas !

But I manage to get there from the UK so what's the problem !?

The lack of retirement, on my part, tends to be in the way. I can't live off of my 401K or Roth or other investments at this point.... yet.

Nah just come down anyways. I will be bringing a friend of mine with me and his truck isn't a KR. Actually it looks a bit like the one in your signature there.

Unfortunately I know I can't make it, so you can count on that one not to change. I would love to go sometime tho. We will have to see someday.
