KR S'crew new owner

2006 S'crew black,18 inch wheels, 4x4 with bed extender, tow package, limited slip, dual fuel, blah, blah, blah. Stock radio system and they owe me a Rhino liner and power rear window set up, next week.

Bought from Ricky Jessup at Texan Ford on I-20 in Arlington. Great deal and great service. Traded in a CTS-V and added a little money. Got a great deal methinks, won't hesitate to recommend him. Tell them Commander Augs sent ya.

Plan to replace the standard HU and speakers with the new Alpine HU with touch screen, rear camera setup, XM and 20gig harddrive for GPS and 10 gigabyte jukebox space, MB quart component speakers and whatever moderate amp I can fit comfortably behind the jack.

Texan Ford has a gentleman who does custom KR leather work and I'm going to talk to him about making me a KR leather 'sock' to pull over the ugly shift **** and a KR leather pad to place into the coin tray on the dash.

Truck's function is mostly to pull my boat to and fro the slip at Joe Pool lake, and whatever project the wife has me on that requires investing more disposable income at Home Depot or Lowes (they outta have a stock purchase program, as much as I've invested in them).

Nice to meet you all and by the way, when I was in the Viper Club of America we all swore by and used Zaino products for wax, polish and leather conditioner. No business affiliation with Z's but now that I have leather once again worth taking care of I loaded up on Zaino's leather cleaner/conditioner. Can't remember the website but you can google on Zaino. Great show car polish also. A two step system that avoids having to clay the car to take out swirl marks.

Welcome aboard Commander

The KR is a sweet truck, I'm sure you'll love it. Don't worry about the Zaino, you'll find more than enough ideas on leather maintenance here. The biggest problem with this group is the money you'll be spending when you read all the mod ideas

Welcome aboard! BTW, clay doesn't take out swirl marks. Z is definitely a solid product that is well respected within the detailing realms.

Personal opinion .... Leather conditioner from the King Ranch Saddle Shop cannot be beat for maintaining the leather, and when you use it, you have the new truck smell all over again.
