Anyone know if the king ranch package will be offered on the new 07 expedition?

All I can find is xlt, eddie bauer and limited.

 

Not sure, maybe RP knows but I was at the car show a few months ago and Ford was really showing off the KR Expy so it seems weird if they would do that if they were going to continue the trim.

Yep, meant to say it would be weird if they were showing it off (yes I believe it was an 06) while planning to NOT have the trim available for the 07 models which were (at the time) soon to be announced. The KR Expy was a prominent display at the show.

Yes it would be nice to see the new Expy with KR trim.
Having said that I can't justify a new vehicle with only 4000 on my current KR and only living in the States part of the year I can't see me ever needing to change it!
(Mind you I said that about the last 3 trucks !)

Also...and keep this quiet....it may be that our time in the States may be drawing to a close within the next couple of years.
I've been coming over several times a year for 26 years and besides having spent enough on air fares and associated travel to have paid for a 747 outright, think that the rest of the world deserves a shot at my troublesome presence !

Anyway it does mean that before too long a lot of my King Ranch 'stuff ' will start to appear for sale in the usual places.
I seem to have collected all those leather planners and accessories that Ford dished out when the KR was first announced.
I only got one for free though, but have collected most else via Ebay.....God knows why...I've never used any of it !!

I'm sure he doesn't read half of this stuff....he just has a pile of stock answers he shoots back to make us think he's keeping his watching brief.

 

A co-workers father retired from Ford, but still keeps fairly current. First time I saw a Expy KR, I had to ask if I wuz seeing things. He said nope, his dad had told him that EB and Limited for both Expy's and Explorers was in the process of being phased out with KR replacing them. Don't know the time table. Seen Expy's up close. Sweet looking vehicle, but think I'll stick with my F350 KR.

Yes... but you don't want to know the answer...

As of this moment, there's NOTHING in the FoMoCo system relating to a KR Expy....

There is, however, an 'IRON MAN' Explorer (not sure what that will entail).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... Naturally though, this doesn't mean it won't hapen but, with the Eddie Bauer being in for an 07 model, it makes you wonder...
