Anyone know if the new True Blue offered on the F250 KR's is planned for the F150?

I've actually tried to check on this myself as the blue is, indeed, the best looking color in my opinion. Unfortunately, my resource at Ford (within the 'Materials Department') has retired. My other resource doesn't have an inside track to the information...

Then again, that materials guy mentioned that the KR leather was going to be more 'red' than the standard Castano -- we haven't seen that change. Maybe it got shelved, maybe it was bad info? Who knows. We did, however, find out about the KR Expy LONG before it was announced publically....

I'd be exceedingly interested in hearing this informatio myself though...

For those new to the KR forum and bearing out this comment about information available here, it really does pay off sometimes !
Some long time ago by putting 2 and 2 together and making about 397, we did indeed decide that a KR Expy was on it's way.
(Because someone near here had seen some seats that were finished in Castano, which were definitely not F series seats !)
I asked my usual dealer to put in a provisional order for a KR Expy (August 2004).....at which they were more than a little dubious, since they knew absolutely NOTHING about it !!

Boy were they surprised when one arrived on a transporter just after Christmas 2005.
Just imagine my pleasure at having one of the first in Texas if not in the whole US !

The person who was most put out though was the current owner of a large part of the King Ranch who came to the dealership expecting to walk off with it to be told a limey had his dibs on it !!

Hey RP - I seem to remember a time in ancient history when you thought Chestnut was the best looking color!

I'm not sure that opinion has changed... Black is beautiful for 5 minutes after a wash or wax (or both)... from the 6th minute forward, it's dirty... and scuffed... and swirled...
