King Ranch - Door lock problem
I am new to this site, and hope someone can provide a little help.
I have a 2002 King Ranch. Last week, I noticed the passenger side door lock had a different, rattling sound when the locks were opened or locked. The lock is engaging, but the stem (visible outside door panel) seems to have dropped lower than the one the drivers side door. I hope that something has just worked loose and I can repair it myself.
To date, most of the work on my truck has been done by a mechanic. I have changed the air filter and replaced several bulbs. I do lots of home improvement projects, but have been hesitant to work on my truck. Would this be a good starter project, or is this project more difficult than I am anticipating?
I would greatly appreciate any tips or instructions.
