I'd help if I could... looking at your account (from the minimial perspective that I can as a moderator), it looks as though everything is in order. Do you see the 'Disable Smilies in Post' box below your 'Go Advanced' reply? Make sure it's unchecked...

Yikes!

If I was one of those trucks on the ice in that picture and me seeing a truck that fell through the ice, wouldn't you think to yourself that it's a sign to get the heck off the thin ice before you brake through urself!

If I may chime in on how to use the smilies....

when this board got upgraded, I too was not able to post smilies or pictures. A member here told me to go to Internet explorer, clear the cookies out, then try it again, and for me that worked a long with a few member here as well.

delete your cookies, and see what happens

I don't make empty promises....
If you want the beers they're yours.....

One drawback....You have to wait until we're back in the US (October), then drive to deep south Texas !!!

(You can call at the Saddleshop on the way though!)

I had the same problem, but everything was back to normal once I cleared the "cookie" in my browser (FireFox) for the F150online Forum site. Had to re-enter my user information but that seemed to do the trick.

In fact I still can't see how it impacted on what I have been doing with no problems for 5 years !!

RP,

trust me, you can't have any of that beer he is offering me! No matter how much you try to say you told him first how to fix it, I still want the drinks!

A little tidbit for you Lenny... Mountaineer is underage (in the US). Let the beer and Bourbon rain down!

Okay, all this talk about smilies and cookies got me noticing something new (well, new to me). On the right side of each post where the number of posts are recorded for each member there is a little green dot. If you hold the mouse pointer there for a few seconds, a smart tag displays. For most of us, it says the same thing, "[Member handle] is finding their way". RockPick's little green dot says "RockPick will become famous soon enough".

Why is this here and why does it say what it does? Is this something that can be changed by the member? Why is RockPicks different? I looked in the User CP but didn't see anything about it. Curious minds want to know!
