Need help with rear seatbacks
Hi......
I have a mysterious rattle coming from behind the left rear seatback that's just bugging the livin' hell outta me. It sounds as if a cable that it wrapped in hard plastic for a jacket is rattling up against the bare painted metal of the rear wall. Location wise, it sounds like it's right around the area where that flapper valve thingy is.......sorry, I don't what that's called.....looks to me like that might be access ports for wiring or something like that for maybe a camper top?
Anyway, I wanna pull the seats and seatbacks out to try to fix this rattle. How the heck to I pull these outta there? I just don't like to go around unscrewing things arbitrarily.....I did that once to another car I had.....that was a mistake.
Tnx!

I believe that there was a thread bouncing around talking about rear seat removal in the 2004-2006 forum but, after a quick search, I didn't see it.... I know there was one though.... it had pictures and all to my recollection.
The rear glass is a notorious 'rattle trap'. That might be an area worth investigating.

This same rattle (almost a squeak, actually) just showed up in my new KR within the last few hundred miles. Same general location. Funny thing is, sometimes is magically disappears. Don't know if it has to do with temperature, moisture, etc. But it is driving me NUTS too!
