seat swap..

Hey Everyone...

Newbie here from Tomball, Texas.

I just recently purchased an 03 King Ranch 4x4 with the captain's chairs in the back. Due to having two small children that require car seats, I was hoping to maybe find someone who had the bench seat that would like to trade out for the captain's chairs.

Please email or send a private message if you are interested..

Thanks.. I look forward to learning as much as I can from the boards here, and hopefully offering a little help along the way. I was a member of FTE for a few years while I owned my F250 SuperDuty which I sold in order to get the KR.

Bryan

From what I remember it's not a simple swap. The bolts aren't all there for a bench swap. What's more, you will have a large hole in your carpet where the center console is. I think this was discussed once before, so you might try searching the forums for the topic. Just some points to think about as it isn't a trivial task to switch from one to the other.

By the way, the buckets fold down to reveal the car seat anchors, so if you only have two kids the buckets will work just fine for you.

I think Dufunnel is right..we went through this a couple of years back and I'm sure we found out that the anchor points are different, though no doubt someone with appropriate skills could do it !!
