Bedlocker???

Has anyone tried the Pace-Edwards Bedlocker? What do you like about it, and what don't you like about it?

Hi there, I have one on my 2005 KR F150 and it is awsome! It works great and keeps the bed for the most part-dry. There is a little leakage at the rear where the tailgate corners are, but not too bad at all...The only problem we have had with it is after you wash your truck, if it is freezing out, the bedlocker may freeze in its track and not open or close. For the most part...it is a great option and I wouldn't be without it!

Pace Edwards Bed Locker

I have a Pace Edwards rollup cover and it does a good job of closing up the rear. I own an 02 KR so the bed when looked at from above has a severe curvature that tapers at the tailgate. This posed a design problem for Pace Edwards in that they had to widen the track enough to compensate for that curvature. Now I have a wide track that impedes into my bed space about 6" more than I would have liked. This is the most severe problem I have with the cover, the other is the lock itself, it's not the most secure out there. The cover has rolled open in the past while on the freeway even after I "locked" it. Good luck.

Anyone have the PE Jackrabbit on their KR??

Does anyone have the PE Jackrabbit retractable cover on their KR? I have an 02 SCrew and I'm seriously looking at it. Don't like the fact that the tract extends into the bed so far near the cab but because of the difference in widths front to back on the bed this can't really be helped I guess. I'm wondering what the black mounting bracket looks like on the KR (AZ beige) bed molding. Any pics are appreciated.

Thanks...Mike

We have three pace edwards products on our trucks at our family business.

The 2001 350 dually has the roll top-good cover we have had this model on trucks in our fleet sonce 1993

the 2003 sierra has the jack rabbit-I like this one better than the roll top-you can close it with out locking it every time. It also latches every foot.

The 2006 KR dually has the power bed locker. On of the nicest covers that I have ever seen. It is fully automatic, just push the button. It is all metal, no vinyl like the other two i mentioned. Makes this one easier to keep clean. The only down side is that there is no way to open and close if the motor should fail, or some other electrical problem.

Yes we sell them at our business, hence the biased post of opinions. But we also sell other brands and their is a reason why all of our trucks have the pace edwards brand on them.
