KR Tonneau Cover

New 2002 KR owner in Cleveland Ohio. I want to cover the bed before the next big snow. Any thoughts on which covers are best. I race bikes so I need easy frequent access to the entire bed. I am thinking about a velcro roll up cover made be Access right now. Also has anyone color matched their cover? Would black look alright on the green and tan truck?

Thanks!

personally, i don't like bed covers. the tarp type makes noise no matter how snug you get them...the hard type restricts vertical storage space.

i got line-x and color matched to the copper. it looks great and protects the bed from the elements...and stays quiet while not restricting my hauling capacity.

however, there are times when i wish i had a bed cover so that i could feel secure stopping at several places with a bunch of stuff in the bed. but the good thing is that most people would have to climb up to to see inside the bed

This is going to be off topic...but hey...my name's generally mud anyway !

What bikes do you race....
I have Specialized works S in the UK, plus mainly vintage stuff....Hetchins, Baines Flying Gate, Hateley, and over here vintage Falcon and modern Orbea.

Welcome to the forum by the way...did you post in the sticky at the top yet ?

I have the soft snapless KR tonneau cover and there is no noise coming off of it.

Undercover

I have the Undercover hard tonneau cover and I think it's a great compromise.

Here's what it looks like:

Here's the info on it:

and

I suppose I should mention that I have no connection to the company at all - I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Anyone hear of this??

A buddy of mine got an 05 Avalanche and it has hard cover that is in 3 sections that can be taken off independently. It was a factory option I think. Has anyone heard of this for the KR SCrew? Cheers

Just had the roll n lock installed Going to be much better than the
sectional Avalanche cover.

Just traded a 02 Avalanche on the KR. The Av's was nice at times and others a
PIA. You have to store them (covered to really protectem), if take them along
not convenient at all. After all the years mine were badly scratched and starting
to sag a little too. The drip rails in the bed had come loose also. Course this
was the first year and they may have improved the product some. That is why
going with a roll n lock. The Av was a great truck but came to find all those seals
not so long term if you really use your truck
