What did I pay for Rims and Tires?

I got my wheels from Discount Tire. They are a set of 22" MB Motoring Senna Wheels (One Piece Design)...Cost $225 per wheel(regular price $260). The tires are Nitto 285/45 R22 114H...Cost $200 per tire(regular price $235).
They look much better in person. I put them on today, and I watched 4 people at the grocery store circle my truck checking them out. I went to Auto Zone earlier in the day and all the guys who worked there were commenting on how unbelievably good they look. It takes some getting used to but they are very good looking in person.

I'm not a fan.....but if you like them that's all that matters.

I would have got much taller sidewalls, and/or dropped the back end to close that very large wheel-well gap.

But hey, that's just me.

:santa:

Bigger Sidewalls

Yeah, I looked into bigger sidewalls, but in a 22 inch tire your options are limited. I went with the tallest available. They did a calculation that determined that those wheels raised the height of the truck by 1.5 inches.
I'm telling you that these pictures are very deceiving...I was skeptical at first about black wheels myself, but after they put them on I really liked them.. they have a great tough, masculine, classy look about them. Again they probably only work on a black truck though. My wife even says they'll have to grow on her.

Yikes. I had no idea the rake on the new body style was so extreme. That definitely needs a leveling kit so it doesn't look so odd with its a$$ up in the air.

i really thought it looked awesome in the first picture. the second picture, however, makes it look like it's got wheelchair wheels. i'm not sure why...because when i go back to the first picture, it still looks great!

Not my cup of tea but what's important is that you like it! BTW, the paint looks like it's in great shape in that last picture. Nice work!

I think a set of rear shackles would help a lot. Looks good otherwise though.
