Lower valance air dam

I recently installed a Westin bull bar with some 55-watt pro comp lights. It required a little trimming on the lower valance to get it on. Nothing major, just two small notches for the bar to reach the frame. You can't even see it when looking at it from the front. The thing is, I trimmed the very bottom air dam (the black strip along the bottom of the valance) and after I had the bar installed I realized that I could have gotten it on without trimming that piece as well. To anyone else, it's almost impossible to notice unless you crouch down and look at it eye level with it. But, I know it's there and I'd rather it not be. I've tried Fordparts.com and all I can find there is the entire valance (and I don't even know if that comes with the air dam attached). I've also tried a few other parts sites and, while they're much less expensive, I have found the same. Does anyone know of anywhere I could get just the very bottom air dam? Even though it's darn near invisible, It's going to eat at me until I get it replaced. If I can't get the air dam, I was thinking of just getting an entire valance for a 4wd with foglamps and towhooks (if you have the towhook holes in the valance there is no trimming required) for a completely "stock" appearance with the bar. Here are a couple pics I snapped with my phone. I'll take some better pics with the digital camera sometime soon.

On another note, I had the sound system installed yesterday. It all went great (and took them all day to do) but, the stealthbox hadn't arrived yet as they are made to order. It should be there Monday and I'll be having it installed this coming Saturday unless something happens and I get a chance to have it installed before then. The Memphis Sound 5x7's sound phenomenal even by themselves, so when the sub is installed I may never leave the interior of my truck.

You should have just cut the tow hook holes out. I did that with my valence and installed some stock chromed tow hooks on my 2wd King Ranch.

Well, that doesn't help me now. jk

On another note dufunnel, what's the word on the bugflector? I won't be able to make a trip up there to get the tonneau (though I'd still be willing to pay shipping costs on it if you're willing to have it packaged heh) but the bugflector shouldn't be a problem to ship and I'd really like to have it. Email me at clint@zetasquad.com if you'd like to discuss it further.

I might have a box for the bugflector. I'll have to take a look this weekend to see if it's the right size and see how much it's going to cost to ship it. I'll also take a picture and see about sending it your way.

By the way, I might have that black piece available if I am able to get rid of the rest of my arizona beige trim. I'm going to do a custom paint job and get rid of all the arizona beige, even the plastic pieces, and I have someone who's possibly interested in the whole package. If that's the case, I will probably have that lower air dam piece available, and might be able to ship it with the bugflector. I'll know the week of Thanksgiving, so I'll let you know.
