Any particular issues with the 2003's that I need to be aware of? I'm looking at one that is in very good apparent condition, but has 24K on the clock. I'll probably get the extended warranty, (if they don't try to rape me in the process) so that should take care of MOST issues, but I know models change and improve (usually) year by year.
It's a white one, and would look GREAT with our white 05 KR mom-mobile...I mean Expedition..

 

I have an '03 KR and to date have not had any issues really. Mine has just under 35k miles now and the only thing that I really didn't like was the OEM Goodyear tires. I junked then at 24k and put the BFG All Terrains on. I had one warranty issue but it was cosmetic, the plastic trim around my side mirror was cracked when I bought it, but I didn't see it until it was home. No biggie, replaced for free. No mechanical issues at all that I can recall. I've had mine for 2.5 years now and plan to keep it for a while. I think you would be safe with the truck you are looking at, but an extended warranty, (if you can get it affordably), is probably a good call. I am always leary of a used vehicle that I don't know how it was treated previously. Therefore the extended warranty recommendation. anyway let me know if you have any specific questions.
