1st Generation KR stereo setup

hey everyone ive had my truck for a while know and ive decided to upgrade the factory system but decided to keep the cd changer...

do you guys have any experience with an aftermarket stereo..preferably a dvd in dash with screen.do they sell an adapter to combine the two..will i be able to keep th cd changer or will i have to upgrade it also?

You can't use the stock cd changer with any aftermarket radio. You will not be able to keep the cd changer and change the head unit. You will have to get a new cd changer compatible with the particular head unit.

By the way, I'm thinking of selling my in dash DVD setup for my 2001 King Ranch. I have a Clarion VRX925VD with a 6 disc cd changer and a 6 disc DVD changer, TV tuner, 5.1 channel surround. I am thinking of going to a custom mounted system with a navigation system since I am putting in an expedition console. Drop me a line if you're interested.
