Paint Protection
Paint Protection
Has anyone gotten the optional paint protection/warrantee that they offer for about $350? Is it worth the price? Does it change the appearance of the paint?
Also how about the leather protectant? Does it improve the life of the leather? Does it change the appearance of the leather?
Thanks...I just picked up my loaded Copper King Ranch yesterday and I am loving it!!

Hello Alex...
Welcome to f150online.com.
As for the paint protection, 99.9% of folks say don't waste your money. It's generally a sealant of some 'flavor' that is readily available to anyone. In short, save the $ and spend it on a few professional details (or, even better, get some professional products and learn that it's not terribly difficult to maintain on a level of a professional pending you have a little bit of time to devote to it)...
Leather protectant... again, total waste.
You can learn the ins and outs of leather care from all the folks here. Try a quick search and you'll have enough to chew on for a few weeks of non-stop reading.
These 'add-on' sales are where dealerships make their money. They're flagrantly over priced and offer little to no gain over what you could buy at your local 'mart' store.
Enjoy the new truck!
