Roll Call !!! So many new KR Owners.....
Hello everyone.
This is my first post but I have to say I have already gotten some useful information from looking around.

Horsham, PA (just outside Philly)
2005 F-150 Supercrew King Ranch 4x4
Dark Copper / Arizona Beige
Pretty much fully loaded.
I bought this truck a week ago today and I love it. The interior is so different looking and so comfortable. I love the look of the truck. I had been trying to find one for about two months but was unable to locate what I was looking for. I was going in to talk about pricing and options for the 06's last tuesday when my salesman called and said thay they had just gotten one in. Turns out that it had been ordered for someone else but the deal fell through. Good luck for me. Saved a little over $10k with Family Plan pricing. This is also my first ever new vehicle. For that matter the first car I have owned built in the decade we are in!!
Look forward to many years with this truck and hope to be able to supply useful comments on this site.
Scott

Welcome wileymo! Indeed this is a great group of people, I'm still fairly new myself. Have a look around some of the other boards as well, they're interesting too!
I think everyone that has purchased the 05 KR is still in the honeymoon phase, I know I am!

Rollcall - New KR owner
Purchased my new KR less than a week ago and am really enjoying it! The family plan was the real clicher in purchasing this awesome vehicle.

The way I figured it, I used my old truck to haul lumber, stone, mulch, firewood, and soil on several occasions. I figured a bedrug wouldn't deal with that too well - I figured it would get dirty and I'd never get all the bits of mulch and dirt, etc. out of the "pile" or loops of the bedrug.
And I figured that if I got the spray-in and decided later that I did want a bedrug, I could always get one later.
As you can guess, I got a polyurea spray-in liner (Premium One) and I really like it.
If you're going to use the bed mainly for luggage and/or moving furniture and stuff, then I'd definitely consider the bedrug.
Thanks for the opinion on the Bedrug vs Spray in liner. My KR will be mostly light duty use and am leaning toward the Bedrug just for appearances.
This KR is really one of the nicest trucks I have ever driven. I owned a 97 F150 STX flareside before this KR. The KR has "Cadillac" ride and quietness.

popsKR, I opted for the bedrug myself. I first installed a tonneau cover and originally thought about a spray-in bedliner, but after reading numerous posts about the quality of the bedrug I changed my mind.
I like it a lot, it's made the short bed like a giant trunk. My KR came with the bed extender (do they all?) so it's much easier to load groceries in the back using bed extender as a smaller area to contain the sacks. It's much easier to load and unload from the back instead of the rear seats anyway. Besides, I can't stand the thought of anything getting on that leather if something broke or leaked!
When we go on a trip, I remove the bed extender and never worry about how much luggage my wife decides to bring or souvenirs she brings back!

I opted for the bed rug also and love it. Everything washes out of it. I don't feel the ribs of the bed through it. I get tremendous comments on it also.
As for the comment on the bed extender. No, not all KR's have them. Mine didn't and I asked the dealer to throw it in but they stated they couldn't, I even tried to walk away from the deal and they still held their ground. I figured if I needed it I could go through ebay cheaper than dealer price.

Wimer94 and MrGib.....
Welcome both of you and keep in touch.
We talk about all sorts of stuff here (Well I do anyway....most of it nonsense), but whatever you do...just enjoy the KR experience.
