Roll Call !!! So many new KR Owners.....
Hello KR Owners!!
I just purchased the same truck as above! I have owned all Chevrolet's before this... so this was a big move. So far, everything is great! Fantastic vehicle! On June 23, 2010, I bought a 2010 King Ranch 4x4, it is Black with all the fixin's. I added 285/65/20 BFG's and a 2" inch leveling kit in the front.

Picked up my new KR last night. I have been wanting one of these for years. With the 2010 closeouts (It was tough with the new engines in 2011) deals it was hard to pass up.
I will add pictures later, Black/Gold 4x2 all the goodies.
It was surreal driving it to work today.

Hi all,
Had a 2001 Supercab KR for a work truck from 2003 to 2007 when I left the company (put 175,000 miles on that baby) and have jonesing for another one since then. Wife had a 1999 F350 Crew cab dually V10 for winter driving and decided it was getting too old so when our local dealer had 2 available I bought the 07 two days ago and am just happy as can be. best truck I ever had and hopefully this will be the second best truck I ever had.
I will get some pics posted as soon as I get a chance.

Hey, y'all!
New to the forum, but did a little readin' here to get some info on takin' care of the interior. I have a Mahogany 2008 King Ranch F-150 that I purchased new Oct 30, 2007. I'm in upstate South Carolina. I look forward to talkin' with y'all and gettin' more useful information!

Hi guys, I posted this introduction on the main 2004-2008 forum, but I wanted to cross post it here to mark my name down on the KR hall of fame!
I just bought my first Ford truck a week ago. It's a 2007 F150 Supercrew King Ranch 4X4. I actually bought the truck from North Texas Truck Stop after seeing it on ebay. I was interested in one here locally at a Chevy dealership(yeah, can you believe it?), and I almost bought it, but I was looking around online and found this one. It was the exact same price and almost the exact same truck (different color); however, the one here had 54k miles on it and the one in Texas only had 36k. I figured it was worth the extra hassle to get it delivered for almost 20k miles less! Anyway, I plan to post soon about my experiences with buying a truck on ebay so people in the future can know what to expect.
I am currently living in Ocean Springs, MS because my wife is stationed at Keesler with the Air Force. Anyone else located along or close to the coast?
The first time I sat in a KR, I knew I had to have one. When I test drove the one at the dealership, I looked at the wife and she knew that look in my eyes!
So without further ado, here are some photos of the truck when it was still at the dealer. It's all stock and after reading through these forums, I can tell it's going to cost me a lot of money now that the mod bug is starting to hit me. Hell, last week I couldn't have even told you what a leveling kit was, but now I know that I need one really, really, really bad!

Just joined the site and just bought a 2001 F150 King Ranch Supercrew, estate green. Love the truck; my question is, when was this model introduced? I just got the '01 sales literature, and it doesn't show up at all. Late season introduction or what?
Is there any sales literature for the '01 King Ranch?

Just joined and have a question: when did the first King RAnch go on sale in 2001? I can't find any sales literature for it- the '01 brochure doesn't mention the KR.
Can you help?
Also, went through the whole process of putting cars in my garage and they didn't post.
Thanks,

The King Ranch trim and the crew cab body style were introduced in 1998
A crew cab body style, dubbed "SuperCrew," came aboard for 2001. The Harley-Davidson edition adopted the SuperCrew body this year, and a new top-o'-the-line trim debuted, called King Ranch.
On wikipedia it says it was 2003, but we know that's not true, since you have a 2001.

In 2003, Ford Motor Company added a King Ranch edition to their F-series Super Duty truck line, complete with the King Ranch cattle brand logo. Eventually, Ford added King Ranch packages to its F-150 Lineup, as well as the Expedition Full Size SUV.
Thanks for the response; I love to collect sales literature for every vehicle I've owned, but searches aren't showing anything for the '01 King Ranch (there are several such trucks for sale on-line, however). I haven't seen any 2002 literature, but like I said the '01 brochure shows only the Harley edition and goes on at some length about the Supercrew, this definitely being the crewcabs first year of production.
New 2010
Took Delivery of my 2010 KR last week! Loving everything about it and now looking to make a couple of "upgrades." Gave up the 4wd after owning several different brands and realized I just don't use it enough to justify the cost. Great to see there are others out there just as crazy about this unique Pickup!
