Finally got pics!!

Hey all, still fairly new to this stuff but I HOPE I figured out how to post pics. I spent an 1 1/2 hours on Sunday installing a Carriage Works billet grill and I must say it looks awesome! Last three mods will be 5" Ford Nerf Bars, dual exhaust (not sure what brand / style) and Air Force One (ordered, just waiting like a million others ) Would LOVE to put on 22" wheels but my line of work prohibits me from doing so (wouldn't look good rolling on 22's inside of industrial plants!).

Grill looks great did you have to do anything special to get it on or did it just go over the top?

What kind of cover is that on the bed? Can you give us a closer photo for the color match? Did you order it already colored or did you get it painted?

Looks great!! Haven't looked to hard to get one until I saw yours. My wife wants the truck now but won't take it till I have put one on.

Thanks for the help.. Again Looks Great!!

Mechanical contractor, visit a lot of industrial sites looking at projects. I think it is bad enough driving in with a King Ranch. Oh well, business is good and I like to drive nice vehicles!

The grill is a total replacement of the factory one. That was the hardest part was the removal of existing. The tabs didn't want to give much and I had to "manipulate" them a bit. The only other "mod" was to drill four small holes in the bottom of the factory chrome plated frame to secure the bottom of the billet grill. You can buy the type that goes over the factory but they don't look NEAR as good!

The cover is a LoRider ( http://www.raider.ca ) When you order it they ask for a color code for your truck and it comes perfectly matched. I will take a photo tonight and post it tomorrow morning. The color match is REALLY good. The clear coat is not as good as factory though. I keep it waxed so hopefully it will last. Cost is around $850, optional Lift Assist is another $100-$150.

Would I chose the same one again??? Not sure. It has it's drawbacks, like all of them. Waterproof / watertight is most important to me (gotta keep the clubs dry!) so I think the only other one I would look at would be the self (electric) retracting one's. They are a bit more cashy, like $1,500 installed or so. The other thing I like about this one is that it is simple in design, not a lot of ridges, etc.

Good luck and remember, it's only money!!
