Emblem Layover
I am trying to get some of those emblem layovers made.
I don't know if it would be legal to get KR logo on them, so I asked Ivan if he could do one of these. I did inquire about the KR being done on AZBG he response is below.
we have a custom printed Arizona Beige color vinyl in proc0ess, but we will have to see how close the color is after we have the custom printed, sorry for the wait, we have been busy lately,
thanks!

It definitely wouldn't be illegal to have the KR 'brand' on the logo but, that's not to say that oodles of layover folks out there wouldn't make it.
For that case, all the guys selling the FORD overlays are illegal too... unless, of course, they have express written consent from FoMoCo.
In establishing the King Ranch Ford Truck Owners Club, I obtained written permission from both FORD and KR to use their names. Both letters from both companies specifically state that, in no way, can our club 'benefit' from the sale of anything with our club name on it.... which, naturally, is fine with us.
They are very protective of their brands...
Let me know what you discover on the AZ Beige... what you described in your post is EXACTLY what I was thinking about trying to have someone make; a BLACK overlay with a AZ BEIGE Running W in the oval. For now, I have Black FORD overlays on order that should be here this week.
Did you do the same on the tailgate?

I had some of the first Ford 'colored' decals on my F150 but of course when I sold the truck they went with it.
Now that I have the KR Expy I would love to put some over the Ford logo again, so I will certainly support any efforts you make to get them again !
Thanks.
(Back over 'The Pond' tomorrow and sadly spent today cleaning the expy to store in the garage until whenever !)
Cheers all !!

There was an earlier post with an eBay auction for "Running W" overlays. Is this what you wanted?

The referenced "Running W" is not a member of a font family...it is a graphic or logo. Some say it's a steer's horns, while others say it's a snake...it doesn't matter.
You can do a Google search and find numerous hits for the "Runnning W" (King Ranch leathers has a nice logo you can copy)
EDIT: here's the link

Not sure but, I think he was referring to the font that 'KING RANCH' is written in...

Not just the 'W'.
