Does anybody know if its possible to replace the halogen lights that are under the side veiw mirrors with led lights, so that it gives off a bluish accent when lit up?

I'm sure it could be done but, I'm not familar with the procedure to get to that lightbulb...

I think it may have been discussed recently in SUPERCREW though...

I thought you were referring to the bulbs for the turn signals because you didn't specify that it was a 05' with puddles...

Good luck in your venture.

not to bring the subject back up, but i got a loaner today from ford. it was a ford freestyle with puddles as well. The puddle lights on this thing are LEDs unlike ours on our KR, but it looks like it is nearly the same set up. when i go back thurs to get my truck im going to talk to one of the tech guys and see if i can get a set and fab up or if they can just rig something up for me real cheap.

Would you mind posting pictures if you do it? Sounds like it would give a nice look in the dark.

L.E.D.

Since we're talking L.E.Ds, how about headlamps?

I'm very happy with my halogens, but my wife's Murano is very nice in the evenings up here in the Taconic Mtns.
