Post King Ranch Steering Wheel - question

Hello all,

Does the King Ranch have the King Ranch logo in the middle of the steering wheel or is it just the Ford logo?

Thanks!

KC

Ford logo on the 2001-2003

Ford logo on the 2005

That sounds like a heck of a mod idea though... a KR Running W in the middle of the wheel would be NICE.

Nice thought...

But what about the operation of the airbag? Wouldn't want to hinder its operation - just in case.

I was thinking more along the lines of removing the Blue Oval on the wheel and having a sticker cut with the Running W...

No major modification... just a sticker. You're right though, something large could pose a problem there...

I just had a visual of a guy walking around with the KR logo stamped on his head from his airbag inflating.

I was actually thinking the other day if the steering wheel of an expy would work. I saw a KR expy at my local dealership a few days ago, and I like the fact it doesn't have the leather. Call me crazy (trust me, a lot do) but every time I get into some harry situations with the truck, causing some tight grips on the wheel, I start to wonder how bad the leather will look in a year or so.

This is what I use in my KR - I don't think it looks to bad, since it's clear.
