I am thinking about removing the running boards on my new 05 KR and installing wheel to wheel Westin chrome nerf bars. I see a problem with keeping the existing running boards clean, and there would be an advantage to having that rear step to access the bed.

How do you think these would look? My truck is white/az beige. I have seen these on a solid white Ram and they looked really good.

 

JMO but I like the nerf bars better than the running boards. Always have. The ONLY issue I have ever had with the bars are they can be slippery if they are wet from rain or snow. But then again, so can the running boards. Like I said JMO, but I'd go for the bars, but it's your truck and you have to do what trips your trigger. You make the payments.
