hopefully next KR owner

hey guys lately i decided i was fed up with cars and decided to look for a truck
well the regular f150 wasnt really unique enough for me and chevy's arent quite agressive enough for me then theres just dodge so i decided KR or HarleyD
after looking at both for a while love the KR style and like the buckets in the back especially

now that i have been looking im having a lot of trouble finding them any suggestions?
wat kind of prices am i looking at good condition 20k miles??? 40k miles???
thanx any info on how it changed between 00-03 would be appreciated

Hello PAH and welcome to f150online.com! We're glad to have you aboard.

The first year that the KR was available was 2001 and thus, you can narrow your search away from a 00 if you're sold on a KR. The only changes that occured that immediately come to mind between the 01's and 03's were minimal at best.

01's and 02's have vinyl running boards whereas the 03's have a tubular chrome side step with Arizona Beige accents. Also, it seems like the 'grab handles' (commonly called 'oh sheet! handles') went from a more 'rounded' look to a more 'square' look. All three years had four buckets or two front buckets with a bench in the back. 02, I believe, brought the addition of a SuperCab to the KR lineup.

01's were available in Chestnut Brown, Charcoal Blue, Estate Green. Somewhere in 02 or 03, they added black and white.

Price. It really depends on what you're after. I would expect a low-miles (40K or less) 4X4 to bring in the 22K range. 4X2 in the ballpark of 20k (I was told by the dealership VERY recently that they'd probably have a tag of 21K on my 42K mile KR just three days ago -- The trade, natrually, was considerably lower).

If you have any other questions, let us know.

Well, if you're really itching for a truck like mine, why not buy mine? I think it's for sale at the moment.

Glad I could help out. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
