Question Mud Guards

Need a little help here...

I purchased some "color matched" Arizona Beige molded mudflaps for my 2003 KR. The rear flaps looked OK but were constantly coming loose. The front pair angled in at the bottom and I didn't like the look much at all. Well, one of the rear flaps parted company with the truck somewhere in southeast Texas, giving me the golden opportunity to get a new set.

Anyone know of a reasonable source for flaps that will mount correctly on a KR with the existing trim around the wheel wells and the nerf bars? Color matching would be nice but black would be OK. Something understated too. I'm a fan of Yosemite Sam, but not on my truck.

I'm actually looking for feedback on flaps that fit well and are of good quality and I'd like to hear it from folks with experience with the products.

Thanks...

Dave

I have a used set but, I don't think they'll work on the front as they are molded for the running board style.... the rears, however, shouldn't be any different... not sure what to tell you...

Mike,

You can't go out because it's 40° out? Hell, that was supposed to be my line because I live in the south, hell you live in the cold part of the country and are supposed to be immuned. Besides that 40° F is still 420° F above absolute zero so you should be burning up man...hahahaha

Later,

~DM~

Hey Dave, were the KR logos already on the mud guards or did you have to make your own stencil? I think that looks very nice and I'd like to add that to my truck as well. Thanks.

Clint...

I'm assuming that Mike rolled his own regarding the KR logo. There was nothing in the ordering process that specified King Ranch over anu other F150 style. The options were basically with/without fender flares.

Mike...

One other question - Did you paint the entire surface or did you leave the "business side" of the guards alone?

Oh, and you said you might have pics of the front guards. I'd really like to see how you mounted them.

Thanks

Dave...
