Here's the pics of the 05 KR.....

Well I couldn’t resist going a day early to see the KR.

The Stone color is an absolute letdown…a bit on the dull side of mud !!
Strangely the Castano leather seems a bit darker too.

A white one had been delivered at the same time, but my opinion of the stone color seems to be shared by the dealership.

Anyway I have ordered an 05 Expedition…..so my truck days are numbered…!

I have a lot more pics…..including one just to prove to doubting Dave that it was indeed my KR.
Unfortunately it is a pic of me with the truck and as I know there are ladies that look at this forum I wouldn’t want to be responsible for the large amount of swooning that would occur !

I kind of like the Stone Lenny. The white is nice also though. Anyway, the more pics the better ole chap. Anybody else as jealous as I am? Nice Lenny, nice.

Here you go, Brad.......

More pictures to move around. (Thanks)

Couldn't upload the last lot into one post.

For Dave..here's an ugly fissog you'll recognise !

(Is 'fissog' a word used over here...if not replace with "Awesome"

Pronounced 'Arsum' of course ....seems to make up 90% of US English....Aw....c'mon.....I haven't had a decent 'dig' for ages !!!)

I have to agree, the other day I spent almost a half hour looking at two F250's one copper the other stone trying to figure out which one to go with on my mine. My kids said this one (Dark Stone) doesn't grab us.

It can grow on you though if you give it time.

Any way to get a couple pictures during the day with sunlight not overcast.

I think this is giving blue impression. Doesn't it look a little more gray.

Reference your somewhat blunt request I must remember to give God a call next time I visit the dealership and ask for blue skies !

Actually...having been involved in photography for well over 40 years I must tell you that most times colours are MORE accurate under cloudy skies, as bright sunlight often deceives.

I think the phots give a pretty accurate representation of the actual colour.

Okay Lenny,

I really never doubted you, I just was making fun conversation. Nice looking trucks all in all but I'm like you and the Dark Stone is not my favorite either. Have you seen the Dark Copper and do you like that color? Congrats on the KR Expy, you'll love that vehicle I'm sure of that. Well I'm sure for at least for a couple of weeks .

Take care old boy!

Later,

~DM~

Lenny,

Thanks, I never doubted you chap! I was just trying to be funny and make converstaion, hehe. Is that the same hat you wore like two and one half years ago when we met down in Port Isabel? By the way, RockPick and I have decided we're driving down to visit with you and wifey in the hopes that you'll share your secrets on being successful, with "green backs" that is and I know I can say I need all the help I can get

Nice pics, of the truck old boy! Where in the world is Carman SanDiego, I mean Skagel?

Later,

~DM~

I know you can't control the weather, I will ask a different way.

Any chance you will be going by the dealer another time to take a couple more photos (maybe when the sun is out)? I was asking because when I was trying to figure out what color to order on my F150 KR the two KR F250's that I looked at one was dark copper and one dark stone they were next to each other and the stone looked more gray.

I do thank you for your time and providing us these photos of this awesome truck.

Thanks

Thanks for taking and posting the photos, Lenticular.

I think the KR Expedition will be very nice.

RockPick - maybe it's time to rename the forum simply "King Ranch"....
