Our new 05 KR is here !!

Had a call from my dealer this afternoon, and the KR has just arrived on the transporter.

I'm off to see it on Friday BUT I've warned them I may be tempted to hang on until the new year for the Expedition. (KR version of course !)

Now I've never even set foot in an Expy but now we have our new home set up it may just be more useful than the F150.
We will be having more visitors to stay from the UK who won't have their own transport and an extra row of seats may be useful.

Any thoughts ?

(Apart from the obvious !)

You won't last that long Lenny. You'll have to buy the truck, then when you see the Expy you'll trade the truck in on that! We all know how it will go.

The obvious being...get one of each?

I'm looking forward to your review of the '05 KR after you've had a chance to see it in person. Some photos would be nice, too, if you have the time and ambition...

Okay Lenny,

You've pulled our legs before, is it really true? Let's see some evidence please. If its really true then congrats are in order. I can only assume you got Dark Copper if it's really true, I can't imagine you ordering any other color.

Mine is to be at my dealer on the 18th of this month.

Catch you later,

~DM~

i saw an '05 f250 kr 4x4 last week in dark copper...looked very sharp...especially with the new headlights, etc.

lenny, just get em both, so you have one for hauling firewood and one for hauling people!

Thanks for the advice on getting both !!

E mail me for the address for sending your contributions.

Unfortunately Dave...it IS true !!!

And as a color change it's Stone !!

Will take pics on Friday and post over the weekend.
As I say though it may be that the Expy wins the day.
Living down here in the harsh salt air of the Gulf I have to leave the truck in the garage when we go back to the UK and it DOES take up a lot of room.
Also as some of you may remember a certain 72 Mustang is taking up the other space !!

Isn't life tough ?!

Lenny - Congrats again on the new truck. But, do you have to rub in the Mustang too? I am soooo jealous. My extra garage has a new John Deere lawn tractor though. I was at least able to talk the better half into that. I'm still working her over for another Mustang. Enjoy the new truck while you have it. Look forward to the pictures. Let us know when the new Expy arrives and post some pics of that too.
