So the rumour we heard a few weeks ago (As someone spotted some Expy seats in castano !) appears to be correct.

It will be interesting to see what the whole package looks like.

What first prompted me to get a truck was the castano leather...I had never thought of owning a truck (Though I'm now on my third!).
Something like an Expedition might make a lot of sense with that interior.....

Will we get a "King Ranch Interior" forum somewhere ?!

You know Dave, that $35 K that's burning a hole in my pocket might just find a new destination !

Had been considering an '05 F-150, but the Expy with the KR interior may make more sense now that we're expecting #3.

Wonder how the Castano leather will hold up with fast food, baby food and dog food?

Not too well...

Castano doesn't have a coating on the exterior of the leather and thus, just about anything that hits the leather is absorbed. I have one tiny spot on my driver's seat from a rain drop.

Strange... My seats have been practically soaked by rain several times. It never left a mark.

I can only hope they offer it in Chestnut. It's the only vehicle I'd consider trading my F-150 for but chances are it'll take lottery winnings to afford it!

"The new Expedition King Ranch features the signature genuine Castano leather interior, a genuine wood steering wheel and wood appliqué accents added to the doors and instrument panel grab handle. The interior package also includes the class-exclusive PowerFold™ third row seat as standard equipment. The exterior's rugged good looks include unique 17-inch wheels, featuring a painted finish with the King Ranch logo on the center cap. The distinctive Pueblo Gold two-tone exterior, with Pueblo Gold step bars, recalls western landscapes and wide-open spaces.

As part of the 2005 Expedition lineup, the King Ranch edition also features a new 3-valve 5.4L engine that delivers 300 hp and 365 pound-feet of torque, as well as improved fuel economy and emissions. Other available class-leading features include AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™, Safety Canopy™ System, Reverse Sensing System and power-adjustable pedals.

Expedition King Ranch begins production at the Michigan Truck Plant during the fourth quarter this year."

It's a beaut!!! Anyone have any idea on pricing?

Guys Guys Guys ( and Gals)

I saw the Expy King Ranch at the Texas State Fair today. I rushed home to share the news with yall.

It's cool and the wife has stated that she must have one.

Say available for order October 2004.

I called the largest Ford Truck Dealer in the country and they will have more info on Monday.

I have a 1 page brochure on this SUV. I will scan it in the morning and post here. Its cool. The pics I have are a little more detailed.

I am very pleased with the Expy. The steering wheel is about 30% wood grain and then leather. All the seats are Castano. Even the third seat. It came with a DVD player installed. The sticker was on the Car but no price was listed. The body color was white althought the brochure says it's available in 4 colors.

I will order one ASAP. The wife has talked about it for 3 hours now and called everyone she knows.

See ya tomarrow.

King Ranch Expy

Wonder if 3rd row will have Castano leather seats?

Looks like new dark stone color in pics? I like the step bars as well.

Looking forward to the 1 pager!

You have all overlooked the major dilemma for RP in this thread.

Do I move it to the Expy forum or leave it slightly misplaced in the KR f-150 forum??????

Hummm!!!! Interesting! Not as interesting as that beautiful KR Expy, but interesting none the less......
