Question can you order 05 F150 KR Supercrew yet?

the factory website doesn't show the new 05 F150 KR Supercrew yet. has anyone seen a site that lets you "build your Ford" with options, and get pricing and availability. thanks

Pricing is available. It looks like the KR is about $2,675 more expensive than a lariat at invoice. If you send me all the specs on what you want, I can price it for you.

My new '05 KR is on order since about three weeks ago. I don't know exactly when Ford's website will offer the '05 models either. However, I know they'd like to reduce '04 inventory on hand at dealerships before they get too excited about the new models. Traditionally, I think September is when most new models are released and can be configured on Ford's website.

I have had my 05 King Ranch on order for about six weeks. It was given a VIN number 3 weeks ago and is scheduled to be built the week of Sept. 27th. I work at a Ford dealer so I am able to keep tabs on it on a daily basis.

I priced one with some options for you. I added limited slip(300/255), audiophile(250/213), 6 cd changer w/MP3 (300/255), adjustable pedals(120/102), moonroof(810/688), power sliding window(250/213), trailer tow(350/298), reverse sensing system(245/208), homelink(120/102) and deluxe heated seats(645/548). The numbers in parentesis are the sticker and invoice prices of each option. The sticker price comes to $38,820 and the invoice total is $34,242. A pretty sharp vehicle for $34,000. If you get lucky and catch some rebate money even better!!

05 F150 Option Sheets

I have been going back and forth wether to purchase an '05 F250 KR or the '05 F150 KR. I just picked up the option sheets for the '05 F150 and the dealer told me that they probably wouldn't be on any lots for another 2 months.

I wanted to get the F150 side of the house. I don't plan on doing alot of towing or hauling for a couple years when I start construction on the family house but then after that a couple jetskis and a couple ATVs.

F250FORME,

Welcome aboard...If I were to consider an F250, the diesel would be a must and that puts the price out in left field in my opinion. The F150 will do just fine with the 5.4L gas engine and actually can haul a trailer to over 9K lbs which is damn good for a half ton truck. A diesel engine is great but unless you need it, it's an expensive option, around 5K more.

Calfornia Kid, welcome aboard and congrats on your KR.

Christian, Welcome aboard too...The key pad is standard on Lariats and definately on the KR. The key pad is near the bottom of the window lip seal on the door which is where it is located on '03 and later Expeditions too.

The diesel is a VERY nice engine but, it's pricey... I made the mistake of test driving one not too long ago and, to this day, it haunts me... I still want that truck but simply can't justify it!

Christian_SS,

My bad, I stand corrected. Please see photo. Now I know too, hehe.

Update on the build of my new truck, I found out today that it won't be assembled until October 11, 2004. Oh well, I guess that puts my mind at ease and I don't need to worry anymore for several weeks. Dealer says that I should expect to see the truck 2 weeks after it's built, so that'll be around the 25th of October, just in time for a Halloween hay ride...
