Biggest Mistake of your life!

Your gonna look back like 2 days after driving your v10 f-250 and kick yourself in the butt for not getting the diesel. Not only are you hurting the resale value of your truck, your gonna get horrible gas mileage, (Yards per gallon). What a waste of a king ranch package...

hes entitled to his opinion, but when i can get my truck for 35K minus any available rebates when it is delivered, i cant argue. the way i see it, im driving it for a few years, 5 or so, and investing the 5 grand for the powerstroke (which i knw is an awesome engine) that i find loud and find it to stink, i would habe to frive it for about 7 years to make the cost difference worth it. i dont tow heavy loads, but i would like a four door truck with a normal sized bed, so the 250 is what i need.

My dad has the 20v V-10 and he gets about 14 on the highway in his v10 wiht no lead foot, and i think the 5 speed and 30v engine will get a little bit better milage. i may be wrong.

As far as resale, i dont sell, i trade. so as long as i get a decent deal, im happy.

Well, 'The Beast' is ordered officially, as of today. Ended up with the Truck in my sig with just about every option (cept the 6.0 of course) and a drive out price of Invoice +300 minus any rebates at the time of delivery, so im looking right at 41K minues rebates, trade in etc. there was no dealer premium on it...

They said about a week until its locked in and then off to be built. Dealer could not give me any time frame other than 6-12 weeks...anyone have any idea how long this takes?

Thanks

CONGRATS!!!!!!

6-12 weeks is, generally, the normal time for delivery. Too bad I can't drive over to the plant (which is located about 15 minutes away from where I'm sitting) and give it a good test drive prior to them shipping it over to you! LOL!

Enjoy it buddy! I know you will!
