2005 colors

Hello all!

New poster here and am happy to find a place to chat with folks who have King Ranch Fords.

I've been drooling over these trucks for the past two years and am finally going to buy one this December.

My plan is to get the F250 SuperCrew 4x4 Diesel King Ranch Edition.

If ya'll don't mind, I'll probably ask more questions as I finalize my list of options, trying to get opinions of this or that, before I spend my hard earned money.

But before that occurs, I've heard there are new colors planned for 2005. I saw the post earlier of the Ebay dually that's the new Copper. Pretty cool but what other colors will be available in the 2005?

Being University of Texas Ex I'll probably go for the copper (burnt orange) but my mind isn't made up yet. I've always like the dark grey or gunmetal grey color on all my vehicles, but doubt that's an option.

Any insight into the new colors would be appreciative.

Cheers,

TXLonghorn

Hook'em Horns-Good to see another Longhorn Fan!
My wife and I will be heading that way soon for the North Texas game (season ticket holder)!

As far as colors are concerned, there are new colors indeed and one on them is called Stone Metallic. I think that the color is a cross between gray and arizona beige. A post is out there with the new colors and a color chart. I looked and could not find it. If I do find it, I will post the link.

Well my crude internet search has given me this information...

Aspen Green
Black
Oxford White
Dark Stone
Dark Copper

Does this sound about right?

I viewed my first DARK COPPER truck today. It's sitting on a lot in Missoula, Montana... I took some pictures but forgot to bring my transfer cable along with me on this trip thus, you're going to have to wait for them.

All in all, I like it. It's different but, I like it.

I pick up my 05 Dark Copper F-250 on Monday morning. I could pick it up tomorrow, but I've got a plane to catch to Dallas. Monday is going to be a great day! A win over OU and a new, Burnt Orange truck!

Welcome to f150online.com Lat22!! We're glad to have you aboard as a KR owner is ALWAYS welcome here!

Congrats on the new truck as well! Hopefully, the fine folks here at the Louisville Truck Plant did an "A+" job with your new truck! Please post some pictures of it if you get a chance!

TX Longhorn,
Your not the first to see the Burnt Orange in the new Dark Copper, you should read the post about

"2005 King Ranch Dark Copper"

RP, how do you post or rather re-post links to previous threads??

I'll typically open another window and highlight the address for the link that you're wanting to post. Copy that link and then paste it into this text entry window. Very simple.
