OEM Replacement Tail Light - 2001 KR

Found a hairline crack running the length of the driver's side rear tail light and am looking for a replacement.

Anyone have one or knows where to find one for a 2001 KR ?

Thanks in advance.

If I were you, I'd try these four options.

1. Local junkyards. Probably a long shot but, it's possible. See if you can find some yards that specialize in newer vehicles as most of the ones around here only seem to stock 95' and older.

2. Check with your stealership's body shop. Most likely, when a truck of this nature has a wreck, the owner would want a Ford body shop to fix the problem. I know they stockpile some salvagable parts sometimes so that they can make an additional buck here and there.

3. www.fordpartsnetwork.com. Email torrie@fordpartsnetwork.com.

4. Place an ad in the f150online.com 'wanted' classifieds. There are oodles of SuperCrew owners that have swapped out their stock tails for Lightning tails or some other type of aftermarket style. I know there are some sets on some shelves in some garages out there. It's just a matter of scrounging up a few.

BEST OF LUCK!

Basic Follow Up Question

While perusing the pages over at Ford Parts Network, LLC. - I found myself wondering when they (FPN) says Right Side Tail Lamp do they mean driver's side or passenger ?

I believe (however I'm not positive) that parts of this nature are viewed as if you were sitting in the driver's seat. In short, right would be the passenger.

Just contact Torrie and tell him Rockpick sent you. He'll help you out.

Left to right is figured as if you were sitting in the car/truck.

Also, left side part numbers are usually odd numbered.

Found a set on eBAY

Found them on eBAY. The seller had taken them off when his truck (2002 Lariat) was new (replacing them with aftermarkets).

Thanks for the replies.
